We have recently bought three wines which will be ideal for drinking in August and beyond. They include a lovely, fresh rosé from Bordeaux, a ripe but mineral White Burgundy and a classic claret – perfect for every occasion. This is benchmark Bordeaux rosé with lovely fresh strawberry fruit and a light, zesty finish. One of the few rosés which have cultivated a strong following over the years due to its seriousness and consistency.

1 case of 12 bottles Bourgogne Blanc Les Perrières 2005, Domaine Simon Bize

Bize makes stunning wines from his domaine in Savigny-Lès-Beaune. 2005 was a great year and it shows with ripe floral fruit dominating. The palate has ripe fruit and mineral notes with refreshing acidity.
